So, I was doing a little research about Git yesterday and in doing so found a really good video of Linus Torvalds talking about it. My number one take-away from this video was that Linus Torvalds is a megalomaniacal ass.
Some Linus gems:
"You can disagree with me as much as you want but during this talk, anyone who disagrees with me is stupid and ugly."
"If you like using CVS, you should be in some mental institution somewhere else."
"I decided I could write something better than anything out there within two weeks and I was right."
He's an interesting guy and smart but it's hard to get beyond his attitude.
